(We last saw Tam Tam & Cham Cham being pulled into a pool of black water, only to arise into clear blue waters.  Fortunately, the two were strong enough to swim to the ocean surface before they ran out of air.  The two find themselves in a strange, new world, and they find themselves about half a knot from a port town.  Let’s see how long their luck holds out as they are now in the port town, looking for answers and help.)

Tam Tam:  This is a rather unusual place.  I wonder what this is called?

Cham Cham:  Cham Cham worried.  Cham Cham has fight in many moons.

Tam Tam:  Sis, don’t worry, we’ll find a way out of here… somehow…

(The two continue to walks around the port town.  Tam Tam stops a pirate to ask a few questions.)

Tam Tam:  Excuse me…

Pirate:  What do you want, Dartha Eel?  >:|!

Tam Tam:  Do you know what this place is?  We’re not from around here.

Pirate:  What are you, some kind of idiot?  This is Pandawa, now let go of me, you jitatan fool!

(The pirate walks away angrily.  At least Tam Tam & Cham Cham now has some idea of where they are.)

Tam Tam:  Pandawa?  What an unusual name.

Cham Cham:  Cham Cham hungry.  :(

(Cham Cham’s stomach begins to growl loudly, even if she had 36 bananas in her tummy an hour before.)

Tam Tam:  Cham Cham, didn’t you already eat before we got here?

Cham Cham:  Yeah, but Cham Cham still hungry.

Tam Tam:  Well, stay close by me.  The last thing we want to do is get lost.

(Unfortunately, before Tam Tam could motion toward Cham Cham’s hand, Cham Cham is long gone, looking for some fruit to eat.)

Tam Tam:  O_O!  Oh shit… Cham Cham!  Where are you going?

(Tam Tam follows after his sister, but Cham Cham is way to fast for the “Angry Mayan” to catch up.  Tam Tam stops for a second to catch his breath and continues to find his sister throughout the streets of Pandawa.)

Tam Tam:  Damn, she’s fast!  :|

(Meanwhile, we see Cham Cham running through the streets until he sees a fruit vendor selling his wares to other people.  The sight of seeing her favorite food makes her mouth water!)

Cham Cham:  Yum… fruit!

(Cham Cham walks to the fruit vendor, wanting to by some fruit to eat.)

Vendor:  Yes, what will it be?

Cham Cham:  Cham Cham like banana, please.

Vendor:  Banana?  What in all of Mer is a banana?

Cham Cham:  Fruit Man no knows what banana is? o_o?  It long fruit… peel off skin.  Taste yummy!  ^_^

(The fruit vendor has no clue to what Cham Cham’s saying… even with her broken English.  Cham Cham’s quite confused.)

Cham Cham:  If Fruit Man no has Banana, then what Fruit Man has?

Vendor:  Let’s see… I got Venda Pears, Dorvo Apples, Ferna Oranges… Ahh, here’s a favorite for many… humans and animals alike.

(The Fruit Vendor pulls out a big ass watermelon.  Cham Cham is going apeshit over it!  She wanted it big time!)

Cham Cham:  Watermelon!  Looks yummy!

Vendor:  It sure does, but it’s not a “watermelon” as you put it, child.  It’s a Minga Melon.  You’d be surprised how many love these things.

Cham Cham:  Cham Cham wants that.

Vendor:  Okay, that’ll be two glans.

Cham Cham:  Cham Cham has this.  *pulls out two Anime City quarters*

(Cham Cham gives the fruit vendor two Anime City quarters, thinking that it would cover the melon Cham Cham just bought.  Much to her dismay, it isn’t the case.)

Vendor:  Hey, what is this?  :\

Cham Cham:  That?  That shiny coin.  That money for fruit!  Thank you!

Vendor:  This stuff is worthless!

Cham Cham:  O_O???

Vendor:  I said I want two glans for the melon!

Cham Cham:  Cham Cham gives money for fruit!  Why Fruit Man makes big issue?

(The fruit vendor walks up to Cham Cham, showing her the money that she gave him.)

Vendor:  You see this?  This is not glans.  This is garbage, now give me the money!

Cham Cham:  That money!  Is good!

(The fruit vendor holds Cham Cham by the neck and pulls out a dagger towards her chest.)

Vendor:  Give me the money, or I’ll slice you up to dakron chum!

Cham Cham:  >_<  *gags*  Let Cham Cham go.  Gave money!  Let Cham Cham be!

???:  I suggest you let go of the young girl.

Vendor:  Who is that… Aye-Jitata!  It’s the prince of Octopon!

(Standing before Cham Cham and the fruit vendor is a young man with blond hair tied back and wearing a blue outfit.  Yes, it’s none other than the prince of Octopon, Ren!)

Ren:  I see you concern more about money.  If money is what you desire, take this, and leave the young girl alone.

(Ren throws two glans by the fruit vendor’s feet.  Seeing this, the fruit vendor drops Cham Cham to the ground and picks up the cash, leaving Cham Cham with her melon.)

Ren:  I hope he hasn’t caused too much distress.

Cham Cham:  Thank you Blond Man.  You good!  Thank you.

Ren:  Don’t mention it.

(Just then, Tam Tam finds Cham Cham with a melon in her hands and the Ren, who just saved her from an attack over money.)

Tam Tam:  Cham Cham, where have you been?  I've looking all over... who are you?

Cham Cham:  Blond guy save Cham Cham.  Buy me big watermelon!

(Cham Cham cracks open the minga melon with her large boomerang and proceeds to eat the insides as if she has not eaten in three days.)

Cham Cham:  Watermelon, yummy!

Ren:  How rude of me not to introduce myself.  I am Ren, son of Primus and prince of Octopon, and you are...

Tam Tam:  The name is Tam Tam, and over there with the melon is my little sister, Cham Cham.

Cham Cham:  We met.  ^_^  *resumes eating*

Ren:  What brings you two to Pandawa, Tam Tam?

Tam Tam:  Well, we're from.. well.. somewhere else.  While we were walking, this pool of black water coiled us and brought us here.

Ren:  You have come here through the dark water?

Tam Tam:  What in Green Hell is "dark water"?

Ren:  The "dark water" is an evil substance in our land.  It devours everything and spares nothing.  You and your sister were fortunate to survive the dark water, for whoever is ensnared in the evil water are doomed to a fate worse than death.

Tam Tam:  Really?  You here that Chammy?  We were lucky!

Cham Cham:  *continues eating her melon*

Ren:  I see your sister has quite an appetite.  How about you come with me and join my crew.  Maybe we can help you find your way back.

Tam Tam:  Hmmm... I don't know...

Cham Cham:  Cham Cham say go with Blond Man.  He good person.  Cham Cham knows it.

Ren:  You don't know anyone else here, and I can help.  Perhaps the dark water is a key to your return to your world.  Besides, I have much more minga melons on my ship.  Care to come?

Cham Cham:  Melons!  Yummy!  YAO!  YAO!  YAO!

Tam Tam:  He said the magic word... ~_~...

(Cham Cham follows Ren to his ship.  Tam Tam follows his sister to see that nothing happens to her.  Meanwhile, several knots away, another pirate watches the events unfolding through a long telescope.)

Bloth:  The Son of Primus... and he has two strangers with them.  I wonder what they be up to?

(Yes, it is Ren's nemesis, Bloth.. the pirate responsible for slaying Ren's father, Primus.  He calls for his right-hand pirate, Konk.)

Bloth:  Konk, get your jitatan butt over here, now!

(Konk arrives to Bloth's side promptly.)

Konk:  Does Bloth have mission for Bloth?

Bloth:  Yes... I want you to play to Pandawa.  There are two newcomers with Ren now.  I want you to see what he's up to and where those two others are from?

Konk:  Yes, Lord Bloth.  Konk not fail!

Bloth:  You better not, or it's the Constrictus for you!  >:|

Konk:  *GULP*

Bloth:  Take the dakron and fly to Pandawa.  Don't disappoint me.

(Bloth throws Konk to the dakron pens as if he was a mere football.  He lands on a dakron's saddle backwards, and the winged serpent flies in the skies toward the port city of Pandawa to carry out his mission.)
